HauntSeeker Halloween Display Finder

About HauntSeeker

HauntSeeker is run by one person: Mark Sloat.(A.K.A Deathtouch) I always noticed that during the Holidays how easy it was to find Christmas Displays, but not as easy to find Halloween. While being on some of the Major Halloween forums such as Hauntforum and Halloweenforum, that there were certainly as many people putting out Halloween displays as there were Christmas. But if this is the case, then where are they? There are so many haunters and owners of haunted houses that spend alot of time and money on their displays each year. It is only right they have an equal showing of their displays to the public, and get the recantation that they deserve. That is why I decided to create Hauntseeker to help show everyone where they all are. One haunt at a time.

Hauntseeker started out a year ago as Gravemaker. I started out using a free database on-line and a simple map to show all the haunters. But I knew this wouldn't last. First I changed the way the website looked by adding a charater named Hauntman, created by Mazscara and music by Souls of Nephilims, I have upgrade the style of the site. Next, I started learning how to use my own internal database and using google to show directions to all the Haunts. But it wasn't good enough. I finally asked my friend Chris from Christmas Light Finder, who I owe big time, to help with the code of my site. His code helped make the datbase come alive.

While the US is the leader in Halloween Display, it is apparent that many other countries around the world share the same joy in Haunting their residences during the Halloween season. Because of this, the database is worldwide. While the chances are slim that the database will ever get a home listed in some of the countries it has on it's list, they exist, just in case.
